Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Run mile or so' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Fill properly' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I use the fuse box jump points and it causes the alarm to go off.

I used a gas can to add fuel, in case the guage was wrong.

It did seem to over flow or atleast have a vacuum that prevented it from filling properly.

I am going to dig into the passenger wheel well to see if i cant get to the hood emergency release, hopefully replacing the battery puts an end to my electical troubles.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.
As part of a bigger problem, my alarm system is immobilized, non functional.
Anyway, the battery died and I was able to get the trunk open, jump it and restart it fine. Driving down the road, the batter died, when i pulled over to jump it the trunk wont open. I use the fuse box jump points and it causes the alarm to go off. I tried pulling the fuses for the alarm and the horns in the fuse box, atleast to shut off the horn.
It sounds like it may be something about the immobilizer or similar that is prventing it from starting, or even opening the trunk.
For the life of me i cannot find a cigarette charger anywhere to try a trickle charger to get enough juice to open the trunk.
Any other ideas to try? I am going to dig into the passenger wheel well to see if i cant get to the hood emergency release, hopefully replacing the battery puts an end to my electical troubles. If there is a way to disable the alarm permanately, I am onboard with that.
I did learn that i should pull my battery tender wires towards the wind shield for better access, that was a good idea.
Appreciate the ideas.
Fish the engine compartment lid emergency opener wire out from underneath the left taillight assembly. Pull it to open the engine lid. On the right side of the engine compartment is a battery jump post. You can hook a charger or a good battery using jumper cables using this post and a good ground.
Good luck
That worked, amazingly simple. In my opinion an better solution than trying to jump from the fuse box.
I still have my fuel pressure problem. There is none at the schrader valve at the fuel line. It ran for a mile or so, then quite. fuses are good, i suppose the next thing is the relay and the fuel pump. I used a gas can to add fuel, in case the guage was wrong. It did seem to over flow or atleast have a vacuum that prevented it from filling properly. Is there any change it that is preventing the fuel from reaching the engine?
anything else i should be investigating?
