I found some on Amazon to replace the 4.8x19 but not the 16 (part # 99907306102).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm trying to find some replacement screws for the 4.8x16 black self tapping screws used around the front bumper and wheel arch assemblies. I found some on Amazon to replace the 4.8x19 but not the 16 (part # 99907306102). The OEM screws are all around $1.00 per screw. There's nothing special about them and I'd rather not pay that if I can get away with it. I've looked on Amazon, Pelican, Autolanta, Suncoast and the Home Depot websites. I've found stainless ones but not the black ones. Does anyone know if there is a good place to get these before I just give up and buy the OEM screws?

These are my go to places: https://www.mcmaster.com/ https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/default.asp And locally, there's Marshall's in Miramar. https://www.marshallshardware.com/ I'm also sometimes surprised at what's available at Ace Hardware.

POST 3Original post

Not porsche specific, but this is a good source for metric hardware https://belmetric.com

POST 4Original post

Ace Hardware and McFadden-Dale hardware in SoCal Both have a large selection of nuts, bolts, screws....

Thanks! I'll check these out. I didn't know Ace had such a good selection. There's an Ace one town over from me. I also looked at the clips and fasteners website and they have that particular screw. I'll bookmark these. I also saw on the clips & fasteners website that 4.8x16 is equivalent to #10x5/8" in standard size.
