Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I got the set of Forged Fuchs for my Sons 1999 996 Cab Aero from a fellow 997 Rennlister...They are in good shape with just a couple minor imperfections in the clear coat but overall very nice.. Even came with like new Michelin Pilot Sports on the front, the rear are trashed by a bad alignment...( corded on the inside edge) ...These are my favorite wheels that Porsche has ever installed.. As you may know Otto-Fuch was the first to make forged wheels. All Fuchs are forged, they don't even make cast wheels( Cast wheels bend easily here in Bama) .....Porsche selected Fuch in 1965 to make the "lightweight" wheels due to their Aerospace experience with strong lightweight materials....They still make those wheels even today.. Fuch was selected for the 50th Anniversary 911 , also the 918 Spyder , 997.1 Turbo 997.2 Turbo 991 Turbo and a few other top of the line models.. The option code was 404 and standard equipment on 997.1 Turbo, and option code 404 was later made available for Boxster/Cayman, and 997 C2 ...The MSRP for these wheels is now $11k !!! The widebody offsets were standard on the 997.1 Turbo and are easy to find.. Here is the part numbers.. Front 997-362-156-02 8j x 19 ET57 997-362-156-05 8.5j x 19 ET56 Rear 997-362-162-02 11j x 19 ET51 The Cayman /Boxster code 404 ( hard to find) Front: 997-362-156-02 8j x 19 ET57 Rear 997-362-158-08 9.5j x 19 ET46 The narrow body 911 wheels option code 404 ( hard to find) Front: 997-362-156-02 8j x 19 ET57 Rear; 997-362-162-09 11j x 19 ET65 Quality never goes out of style so if you like these wheels and can find a nice set better grab them, they are very good/strong for the rough pothole ridden Highways of Bama...lol WARNING ::: Be sure to check the part numbers. Like anything high quality/name brand there are knock-off out there that are cast and are made in Italy ( probably China too) not Germany... Narrow body Forged Fuchs Oh yea, the bedside table I made a few years ago... can ya tell I like these wheels??
