Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Still getting used to it but I have to say the 996 feels like a well worn glove but the Panamera I assure you - even in double sport suspension setting - is no 911 - it's pure physics - the thing is massive

Amazing feat of engineering - 416 combined HP and 460lbft torque with dual electric and gasoline engine going Very weird to be going 80mph at zero rpm with electric motor doing its thing Still getting used to it but I have to say the 996 feels like a well worn glove but the Panamera I assure you - even in double sport suspension setting - is no 911 - it's pure physics - the thing is massive

Can you give more description on the driving feel? Like take off, sprinting, cruising. I just want to see how it compares to a Prius. Don't laugh! So on the Prius: Take off: It takes off in electric if your throttle is at about 20% otherwise it kicks into gas. Cruising: Only up to 42 or so mph at again not more than about 20% throttle. Sprinting: Sucks ***! The gas engine doing most of the work. Braking: Regenerative braking sucks. It brakes very lightly and then suddenly when the real breaks kick in then you feel it braking. On the plus side, the car has 75K miles on original front pads with more than 50% meat on the pads.

Top speed in electric-only mode is 84 mph Top speed 167 mph with the gas engine cranking Panamera S E-hybrid accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds

Funny I thought the same, missed my C4S. I got to spend some seat time in a family members Panamera

POST 6Original post

I got an older Panamera Turbo loaner....and that thing was nasty!! Coming from a side street onto a busy boulevard, it would just barely creep out into the intersection, and you'd think, good grief - we're gonna get hit!! Then the turbos would spool up (and since you had the throttle planted) and you'd come sideways out of the intersection! However - I could see myself going to work in it (most) every day. Really comfortable!!

I got a Panamera 4S as a loaner for couple days from my dealer last year and I actually liked it. It looks ugly but drove very well. It did not feel heavy or big to me. Is the E-Hybrid heavier than the regular 4S?

Wow it looks like the Panamera could eat the wide-bodied C4S as a snack!
