Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Like disconnect the hose from the thermostat nad put the pump on the hose and see the water being expelled from the metal tube OR the other way around ( pump IN on the Tube and Water OUT on the hose)
Leading evidence: 'Use some thread' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Disconnect hose' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I'm guessing the thermostat housing, after remove the thermostat itself and run the water pump

4-) If I use a pump, could this pump be a bilge pump from a boat ( a rule type of pump with 1500 gph for example ) ?

I heard more than one person talking about using the Shout detergent, I'll try that for sure
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

But that only removed the contaminated coolant, what I would like to do is to really flush the bad coolant/oil out of the system using some kind of pump or even a garden hose?!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Dear Friends
My car suffered from intermix and I already drained most of the cooling system used some thread that I read here iat Renlist and some Youtube videos
But that only removed the contaminated coolant, what I would like to do is to really flush the bad coolant/oil out of the system using some kind of pump or even a garden hose?!
My questions are:
1-) Can I do that?
2-) Will the pressure of a garden hose be to much for the system and I end up breaking or bursting something?
3-) Where do you install this pump?
4-) If I use a pump, could this pump be a bilge pump from a boat ( a rule type of pump with 1500 gph for example ) ? Not to mention that I have no idea if this pump has more or less pressure that my garden hose....
5-) Is there on magic place where I install this pump and flush the whole system, or I have to go in parts? Like disconnect the hose from the thermostat nad put the pump on the hose and see the water being expelled from the metal tube OR the other way around ( pump IN on the Tube and Water OUT on the hose)
Then there is that smaller hose that goes in the pump housing ?! If I'm not mistaken?! should I flush that part of the system separated as well?
There is also the heater core on the passenger side, can I flush that part of the system with the pump?
Thank you all for the input
Ricardo
I also thought the tool used in this video was interesting for flushing the coolant and removing any air caught in the system while refilling.

Dear Friend,
Thanks for the reply, I saw this video as well and did the same, problem is that his cooling system was clean to begin with and my is completely contaminated, so I would like to activily flush the system with some warter and detergent mix
I'm just not sure where to hook up the water pump to do this job. I'm guessing the thermostat housing, after remove the thermostat itself and run the water pump
Hello Fracture,
Thanks for the help! Actually thank you all for the help!
I heard more than one person talking about using the Shout detergent, I'll try that for sure
