Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a pretty good gas leak, I can see it dripping from the bottom of the gas tank. I removed the battery to expose the opening in my 03 c2 Cabriolet. It is spraying from the pressurized side. Moving the fitting around it can spray more or less. Is it usually a sending unit issue (cracks) or do I need to replace the connector somehow?

POST 2Original post

Its the sending unit. I have seen a few post of them leaking from that spot un the last couple of months.

ok thanks, Ill pick one up today. Is it possible to find that O ring for the connector? Or buy new connectors and pull off the o ring to swap it

POST 4Original post

I local hydraulic shop can match an o-ring but they usually dont go bad. Not sure if u can get the whole disconnect because u cant get them off the tubing. Im sure u can get the entire line.
