The shocks were not leaking and seemed to still be in good shape.) I used Meyle for everything except the end links, (Lemforder,) and sway bar bushings, (Porsche).

I swapped wheels with a set that had brand new tires on them and the issue persists.

I'm having a weird issue with my 40th Anniversary Edition with 90,000 miles. I replaced most of the rear suspension, (everything except the shocks and springs were replaced. The shocks were not leaking and seemed to still be in good shape.) I used Meyle for everything except the end links, (Lemforder,) and sway bar bushings, (Porsche). I had the car aligned after completing the work. I also replaced the engine mounts. The transmission mount is going, though not completely torn through. I have the mount and tool to replace with the transmission in place, and will do so when it warms up a bit. After all that, I have a weird rumble now at all speeds that feels like flatspotted tires. I swapped wheels with a set that had brand new tires on them and the issue persists. Could this be caused by the suspension bushes not being at perfect ride height when tightened? Or could the fresh bushings be transmitting vibrations form other worn parts that still need replacing? Has anyone else had a similar issue? Thanks.

Probably the worn gearbox rubber mount no longer isolates the noises coming from the gearbox. instead it feeds them into the body. Another possibility is worn wheel bearing(s)
