I have a 2001 C2 with nav but I am curious whether it is 8-bit or 16-bit. I have seen instructions to press the ac switch and then the bottom right button but I do not see a button labeled AC. when I start the car it comes up to a screen that says Pioneer and has some copyright info with different years but nothing about software version I believe. Not interested in changing it out as I don't use it and would rather put funds in to stocks of spares and consumables but don't like having things in my car that I don't know about. If anybody can help me find details on my nav system, it would be greatly appreciated. "Edited due to my phone changing nav to mac. "

Do you have an OE navigation system or is it aftermarket? If it says "Pioneer", then it could be aftermarket. Can you post a pic?

Thanks for your reply. My system Looks like the one pictured here. The CD player says CDR220 on it. I may be a bit thick but the navigation changes in these cars has me all sorts of confused.

Ha! That is actually my car when it was for sale after the first owner. Crazy! I just checked the vin. I wondered why my nav looked different than all the pictures out there. The description from the place that was selling it said it had a Pioneer navigation system. I wondered as in the settings it had something about calibrating 3d Which I didn't think the factory units had. One step closer I guess.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
