Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any good source for a full brake upgrade for a 996 tt? not looking for a carbon set up but something safer for street and occasional DEs. Car has the mojo and I'm starting to get nervous exploring its limits and won't be able to slow down on time I currently have the stock factory set up, thanks

POST 2Original post

Rs29s pads standard calipers and gt2 cooling ducts, unless you are tracking the car regularly.

POST 4Original post

The stock brake setup is more than adequate for all but serious racing IMO. You can certainly spend the money and get some great brakes, whether you will use them to their full potential is another thing.

POST 5Original post

Turbo calipers with an aggressive should bring the car to a stop right now. Maybe they need a bleeding?

POST 6Original post

If TT calipers aren't enough for you, something is wrong. Actually, something is very wrong.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You folks are right she does feels spongy I'll send her to my indy shop to do a full inspection and fluid change if necessary, thanks everyone and I'll report back

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

She went to the shop this morning will get a full suspension ( front end shakes @ 150) and brake check up I was told that Castrol brake fluid is hard to source nowadays so I'll settle for Motul 600, I'll post when I get her back

POST 10Original post
