I don't drive my C4S often right now and I've heard before that there's an issue with battery draining if the car is not driven regularly. When I bought it, it came with battery maintainer (see pic) and I was using it last couple months. But I started noticing that the car would be completely dead when I take it for a spin every 7-10 days or so. Battery was replaced just a few months ago along with ignition switch. Unfortunately I bought ignition switch before looking up on this forum and it's the cheaper option, like $15. Once replaced it never worked perfectly and I was thinking to replace it for a better one. So the question is, could it be that cheap ignition switch is draining battery? Why wouldn't the battery charger/maintainer keep the battery charged or maybe it's broken too? I see that led lights on it come on and off and im not sure it works correctly. PS could you please get me a link to good ignition switch and to a battery maintainer thats proven working reliably? Please advise? Thank you.
