Congrats Mike on the white center console. Cant wait to see it. Depending on what you find for a white ashtray, it doesn't look too difficult to strip the ashtray and paint. I am about to strip and paint my center console seal gray. You can find all the stuff you need here. I plan on stripping it and doing all of the sanding and primering. Thanks GC and hatchet I’m far from handy and the center console is NOS I found in carrera white and is brand new and wanted the ashtray to match in quality

Check out era paints on Amazon, eBay etc. I�ve used their colour matched spray cans and clear in black (on my 996 and Cayenne) and white (on my Panamera) with excellent results. I�m actually painting the 996 in my garage and using some of it.
