Just started, my top now needs help to open and close. Prior owner had replaced the one hydraulic cylinder in January 2022. Could it be the other had failed? Low hydraulic fluid?

The easiest thing to do is to check the hydraulic fluid level and top it off if necessary. I have read that if there is a pool of fluid in front of either rear tire then it�s a leaking piston for the roof. But others are better versed than I. Mine is acting up by not even getting out of the clamshell so it needs to be looked at. I feel your pain.

I had this issue and some advice here said to check for fluid on the rams. I could only find one leaking, but everyone said to replace both. Glad I did, as that fixed my issue. I went with rebuilt rams.
