Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just purchased a 2000 C2 and decided to install H&R springs. I took it in for an alignment and they said it required a camber and toe kit to get the alignment into spec. Is this common? Thanks for your input.

POST 2Original post

Not sure about C2 but c4s required adjustable toe arms.

Unless you are going pretty low, I don't think this is accurate. I did use adjustable rear toe arms, but my car is on coilovers and relatively low.

POST 4Original post

After installing my H&R lowering springs and B8 Bilsteins, I did not have to purchase a camber and toe kit to get the car to align properly.

POST 5Original post

My 2003 C2 had to have upper control arms and toe arms to get it into a reasonable street alignment with H&Rs and B8s. If you don’t mind a more track oriented alignment (and tire wear associated), you can get away without anything.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What after market arms did you use. I found Godspeed turnbuckle arms any experience with them?

POST 7Original post

Are you referring to just the rear? On the rear if they can get the camber in spec but not the toe then you can get away with adjustable toe arms.

I confirm this. I have H&R's on my car and was able to get it aligned to Kussmaul GT3 specifications without any additional aftermarket parts. However, this specification is considered to be more track oriented.

Yea but thats 2.5 to 3* of camber. If u want 0-1* then u will need adjustable toe arms

...and upper control arms
