Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey all- would appreciate your advice on where to go to get the right valuation for my 996 that i'm looking to sell.
I don't think KBB is too accurate, but maybe that is the best? Here are the details on my car:
2002 Carerra 4 Cabriolet TipTronic
90,000 miles
IMS Bearing done with AOS at 66k, with other work
Documented oil changes/maintenance
Runs and drives very well
Full leather
Upgraded to Kenwood stereo with bluetooth/navigation
Brakes done 5k ago
New rear tires 5k ago
Premium 19 inch wheels
Suspension has squeaks, Indy recommends new bushings
Some of the soft touch plastic needs to be addressed
Paint correction done 3 months ago
Full tune up and motor mounts replaced this spring
Overall, well sorted out, well loved car. I'd say it's in good to very good condition for it's age.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Here are a couple comps from BaT:
2002 90k miles for $28,000

2003 with 54k miles for $34,500:

What color combination is yours?
If it were me I'd wait until spring and list for $30-$35k and see what happens.
+1
Be cautious using BaT as an example. That's typically top dollar and a car ready to be picked apart.
That said, prices are nuts so go for it at a higher price. Just don't be discouraged when you get a lot of flack for it.
If you want top dollar for your car, make it look damn pretty inside and out for the pictures with an extensive detailing, show that all the right servicing and part replacement was done when it was supposed to be done with service records, and then prove it doesn't have any bore scoring with a borescope that you can hand the prospective buyer pictures of the bores.
If you do that, you will be light years ahead of the majority of cars listed on the online auctions. Who wouldn't want to pay a few more dollars for a car that looks good, was properly maintained and you know that there is no bore scoring?
