Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The tips are currently equally adjusted between each other, though its a bit hard to capture a pic of.
Leading evidence: 'Adjust between each other, though its a bit hard' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Adjust between each other, though its a bit hard' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Just replaced the right side after the darn clamp failed and I lost it.

Suggestion
Just loosen the clamp on the right one and move it around a little bit - you should be able to get it adjusted a little better than it currently is.

Suggestion
Not easy to hold while tightening the clamp enough to hold the pipe but not too tight that you cant adjust it.

Suggestion
They are not, but used more so to show the curvatures should align.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Could anyone post a pic of how the optional large oval tips were positioned from the factory? I recently had some engine work done and Im not so sure that they got put back into the correct place afterwards.
Here are both of mine:
Secondary question, if they're factory shouldn't they be spot welded and not movable? I'm looking at my stock in the garage and they are spot welded, I don't think you could bolt it up and get the tips that out of position. (Apologies if my eyes are deceiving me)
Okay thanks for clarifying.
They are not, but used more so to show the curvatures should align. Looking at more pictures on the Google machine shows the long point of the oval to be parallel with the ground. Looks like your right is pointed maybe 30 (unless its the angle of the picture), but the left side maybe only 5-10.
Just replaced the right side after the darn clamp failed and I lost it. Not easy to hold while tightening the clamp enough to hold the pipe but not too tight that you cant adjust it. I just eyeballed it by aligning with the bumper curve until it looked right. Still wondering how it fell off in the first place.
Hmmm..., that picture doesn't make it look quite as dramatic on the right tip...., maybe it's just because the shape? Still seems a little off but maybe it's just me.
The stocks in the garage have that same clamp so it can be moved too, never paid attention since they were off the car pretty quick.
Here's mine. Not the same type of oval since it's BB mufflers, but hopefully will be useful. Sagging right side is my laziness of not swapping mount of course.
They look much better from this ^^^ angle. Just loosen the clamp on the right one and move it around a little bit - you should be able to get it adjusted a little better than it currently is. When I got my car back from having engine work done it looked totally ridiculous - it looked so bad, I was surprised the shop let it go looking like it did. The worst part was that they put the bolts in so the nut was super difficult to get to (they clearly put the exhaust on and adjusted it with the engine out of the car - then they were too lazy to fix it... It was a pain, but I was able to get them fairly even... Good luck
I think its as easy as just loosing the clamp, twisting to where you want and retighten. It wasnt difficult. Where your bolts were recently removed, should be pretty easy.
