Does anybody know if the 996 Fog Lights and Running Light pigtails plug into the 997 sockets?

Hey guys, first post, I bought a '99 C2 back in January of 2020, with a 997 Front End Conversion and 109k on the ODO for 12.5k. It's been a great Idaho mountain carver, regularly autocrossed, and has never skipped a beat.
The car came with LED Fog Light/Turn Signals, and I've recently purchased a set of OEM 997.1 Fog Lights, and sockets to replace them, since I don't like the look of the LEDs. Unfortunately, the old wiring has been modified, and doesnt have any of the OE pigtails to plug in. So before I buy another wiring harness, I've been trying to figure out if I should buy a 997, or 996 harness. Does anybody know if the 996 Fog Lights and Running Light pigtails plug into the 997 sockets? I've seen pictures online of aftermarket 996 bumpers using 997 Fog Lights, and was wondering if anybody had experience with getting them working. Thanks in advance! Here's some pictures of my car, if you want pictures of anything I mentioned about the lights, let me know and I'll post them. Looking forward to having this figured out!
My local electric tech just cut and soldered the pigtails but this was to install the leds I’m sure a competent guy can do the reverse
also welcome and would you sell me your old leds my are starting to die out and need a replacement

They are Braum seats, way better than stock as far as bolstering goes. Pretty comfortable too! I drove the car from Boise, to Helena, to Seattle, and back to Boise in August, and never once thought I was uncomfortable.
