Hey guys. Did a search and didn't come back with much but I noticed Michelin now offers the PS4S in C4S sizes (225/295). I will be replacing the Sumitomos on the the C4S I just bought and have always been a Michelin fan. However even though the 4S is now offered in our size, it's not N spec rated like the PS2 is. I've done my research on the N spec designation and it seems opinion is split 50/50 on whether it matters. Its my understanding the 4S is just a superior tire to the PS2 in ever way and they're cheaper so it feels somewhat crazy to buy the PS2 now with the 4S offered only because of N spec. What are thoughts of you all?

If you're coming from sumis you're already using a non-N rated tire. IMO the N rating means nothing. Objectively the PS4S is supposed to be better than the PS2 in every way and I'll be swapping to them when my current set of PS2 are done. I have heard some feedback saying the PS2 is better in dry and occasional track use, but it wouldn't be enough for me to buy another set if PS4S was available.
