Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've gone back and checked the connections on everything and it all seems secure.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'd really want to know why they didn't work at first.
After almost two months my new lights arrived today. Hooked 'em up, plug and play, and they look great to me. EXCEPT I have no brake lights! Running lights, signals, 4 way all are OK. I've gone back and checked the connections on everything and it all seems secure. Even checked that I didn't bend one of the pins putting them together. I will reach out to the vendor, but thought I'd post here first. '02 C2, no dashboard warning lights. (Sorry, I need to figure out how to resize these pics.)
I'd really want to know why they didn't work at first. Brake lights working 100% is pretty important.
Why did it take 2 month to get? Where did you order them from?
I ordered the Dectane brand LED tail lights from Pitlane Online June 18th. I just yesterday received an update, they have finished export customs and should be on there way to the Pacific Northwest. I hope to receive them late this month. I sure hope I'm not waiting another 6 week
Glad you got them work and your happy with them. Post a few more pictures please...
You took the time to delete out the license plate but still didn't rotate/flip the photo to the correct orientation?
Classic.
Congrats on figuring out the wiring issue.
Question: Is there now, or has there ever been in the past, a corpse of any kind in the yellow van? If I was going to dump a body...
"You took the time to delete out the license plate but still didn't rotate/flip the photo to the correct orientation?
Classic." It's a piece of paper towel, that's all. I know the picture is too big, but the orientation looks OK to me.
"Question: Is there now, or has there ever been in the past, a corpse of any kind in the yellow van? If I was going to dump a body..." LOL! No, used to be a CocaCola delivery van.
Nice mod. Nice van, too. I did the LED upgrade on the Harley and it made it much more visible after dark (or so I hope) it was an easy plug and play thing. I then added the strobe brake light. I've seen this setup on a GT3 at a track day - kinda cool.
I'll try to post pics of the truck, but I must be doing something wrong. You guys seem to see my orig pic sideways, but on my iPad it looks fine.
Here goes. '64 Ford Econoline. Pretty much finished except for inside of the rear.
My first post looks fine on my iPad, but I fired up the old creaky desktop yesterday and NOW I see it upside down! Don't know how that happened. I previewed the post first too, but it looked fine. Oh well...
I'm still waiting for mine. It shipped July 1st. I wish there was a way to know when it will arrive (USPS hadn't updated tracking info since the 4th in Germany). I contacted Pitlane, they said this is typical...
Trying to be patient... But on the inside I'm pulling my hair out...
I ordered mine from this guy on Ebay. He directed me to another site of his with a cheaper price. I received these Depo lights in less than a week.

What a great deal! Next time I want something, I'm checking with you first. The wait was well worth it. I've seen posts where they relocated the drivers further away from the lights with double side tape because of the heat. You'll love em. Lets see them when you get them on.
Yes, these are the updated version with the resistor taped to the car body. I can't wait but now wondering if I should have ordered the smoked instead of the clear/red setup (OCD is kicking in). I'm not a fan of the smoked look but I like the non-red look when the lights are off (my car is silver). I think the non-colored style better matches the lines of the car. (Not so much red)...
Anyway, I'm excited to get them. I'll post a pict the minute they are mounted...
My USPS delivery person drove right past my house (again) Checked again on-line. No new scans since Tuesday the 21st (in JERSEY CITY, NJ 07097). What gives with USPS? They advertise 3 to 6 day delivery on Priority Mail International Parcel. Today marks the 25th day in there hands I've called and launched an investigation but all they say is sorry the 3 to 6 day delivery is an expected average, not a guarantee.
I've found a few pictures. They look good on black cars but I'd really like to see just how smoked they are. My ideal setup would be clear rather than smoked. Looking at the standard one everyone gets (I think they call it "red/crystal") I'm concerned about too much red. I don't want it to change the lines of the rear...
The smoked seems to just have a red reflector along the bottom (I think this looks much cleaner and more inline with the Porsche look)... I'm not sure why they don't offer a "clear/crystal" but if they did I'd buy another set in a heartbeat.
No but I'll send you a check for the purchase price. I think you did the right thing in ordering the clear. My car is Polar Silver, I think they'll look great on yours.
Thanks, You know when I read your reply I knew my OCD had the best of me and I needed to relax. in the scope of things if thats my biggest problem, I have no problems...
Then my phone beeps and its a text message from USPS. My shipment has arived at the Portland sort facility. Looks like I'll get then Monday...
I received them today. installed them in 10 minutes. My initial thoughts:
1; They fit very well and seem to be high quality.
2; The LEDs are bright. No worries about elimination at all.
3; Disappointed to see the backup light is a bulb, not an LED like i expected.
4; Disappointed there is no side marker light and am wondering how visible the car will be at night from the side?
5; A little too much red for me...
Now that I have them I think I will re-order another set (special order of the same lights with a clear frame rather than the red). I really think with my color of car it will look more unique... Maybe not but i'll have 6 more weeks to ponder it. If anyone is interested in a brand new set, mine are for sale. They look and work great, I guess i'm just a little different...
Ok, I've been trying to love these LEDs. I like them a lot, I couldn't help but wonder how the smoked would look so I ordered a set. My red ones will be in the classified section as soon as the smoked LEDs arrive. If you're looking for a new set of red LEDs, don't want to wait 6 weeks and want a great price, now is the time to let me know.
Mine arrived yesterday... Was happy with the red but now over the top extremely happy with these. Flows nicely with the color of the car and the reflector lines flow so nicely with the lines of the car. I want mine to be different, stand out.
...bit late to this thread but I went a slightly different route and bought Del Ray smoked LEDs that are a closer match to the OEM setup. Little more expensive but I just couldnt land on the 997 style.
Plug and play install and, touch wood, all fine so far after 3 months:
