Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

In my case, I also had some bad road rash so I replaced the barrel with brand new one from BBS.

Most wheel repair shops will only replace the face or the lips.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Depends on the cost. I had a guy who did them for $100, but that is hard to find now. It might just be cheaper to buy new (discount, obviously) or remanufactured.
Depends on the bend. In my case, I also had some bad road rash so I replaced the barrel with brand new one from BBS. Mine were the RS-GT model.
Technically with BBS wheels, you're suppose to use Titanium wheel bolts only one time, then replace them if you end up taking apart the wheel.
I can't recall if the Sport Design wheels uses Titanium or not.
So I had the wheel fixed. I would say its about 80% better than before. I had it rebalanced too. There is still a very tiny vibration though. It could be from damage I did to the tire tough with all the bouncing they went through
There is a wheel shop in LA I have heard of that might be able to fix them

and a shop in San Diego I have used

Barrels always has to be replaced if damaged. Most wheel repair shops will only replace the face or the lips. Only barrel work most of them do is to weld any cracks in it.
BBS does not just sell barrels to the general public(race teams excluded). Your best bet is to just get another used wheel.
Before putting a wheel of unknown condition to you, on your car, (new wheel included) spin it up on a wheel balancer to see how out of balance it is. This will save a lot of time & expense "down the road".
I generally like to buy good condition original OEM used wheel(s) and try to stay away from "refurbished" wheels as the paint doesn't exactly match the OEM if it's been repainted as well. It's not a problem though if replacing whole set or even one side.
your not kidding! refurbishing is one thing!,very few places can correct a bent wheel the right way, sorry but there is no way around that,if you cant afford a new wheel then you bought the wrong car, plain and simple! dont get me wrong im also looking for ways to save some $ but when it comes to wheels and tires you shouldnt skimp, any reputable place would suggest a replacement if the wheel is damaged that bad.New wheels are expensive! no wonder all of a sudden in the last few years there are alot of wheel refurbishing companys,im not saying that some of these places dont do real or quality work, but beware it wont be cheap, and if it seems likes it is its to good to be true....good luck
Man, How about we see how it looks before drawing conclusions lol
Its a $1700 wheel new. No way in hell I'd spend that on one wheel on a 15 year old car I only plan to keep a year or two lol
If it was a 993 Turbo or something I could see your point. I have 4 cars and a motorcycle and I have to keep myself in check on putting too much money into this thing
I've had it about a month and I already dropped money on Smarttop, Spacers, Tint, Appradio 4, H&R Springs, and New Michelin Tires today so its not like I'm being cheap lol
