Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I emailed the guy out of sheer curiousity and he confirmed the engine rebuild was due to an IMS failure.
Leading evidence: 'ims failure' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'ims failure' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I saw this car earlier this summer, it has been listed for several months. Originally listed around 27K if I recall correctly. I emailed the guy out of sheer curiousity and he confirmed the engine rebuild was due to an IMS failure. If you would like a rennfax just let me know, I live in Milwaukee.
Looks to be a replica turbo bumper for the NB models and someone seems to have applied either a decal reflective strip or painted the center section red.
Raby aside...
Mine cost me about 20k plus another 2 for the IMS. So it's in the ballpark of this car with a rebuild (or at least more work done than mine had) and less miles.
They could have been asked more before, yes the ad isn't written well, but at that price it could be a great car and something to take a look at.
Also if someone doesn't like the way the ad is written, ignore it and get a PPI. Rule #1 is take what a sales person says with a grain of salt, or "trust but verify".
