Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

I have seen the same Durametric instructions for coding stuff - like changing the side markers from solid so they blink with the turn signals - but thought it must only be applicable to Durametric Pro.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have a 2005 996 Turbo S and bought a new Durametric Pro. Works like it should and cleared codes, turned of air bag light from removing seats. Problem is I dont see any options for coding. I want to adjust the interior lights to turn on with doors opening, turn off seat belt chime etc... What could be wrong? I have the latest software as just downloaded tonight. Please help.

I think you need the porsche computer for that...

I have seen the same Durametric instructions for coding stuff - like changing the side markers from solid so they blink with the turn signals - but thought it must only be applicable to Durametric Pro. Post up if you figure it out - I'd love to tinker with some of those settings...

Each module (they look like folders in left hand pane) has "Coding" option in what can be described as sub-folders. If you don't see it than you have non pro version, enthusiast is the term I believe. See below:
