Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I got the connector on the right off. The connector on the left is more trouble. It has two squeeze tabs. Maybe my fingers are too big to depress all the way. Any hints?

POST 6Original post

I took a long nose pliers and heat the tip to a bend in touching each other. works great, sometime my finger are just to big to get a full squeeze.

I think I got it at Lowe's. It's a clamp used for holding wood together when gluing. I took off the yellow pads so it pushed in the sides of the connector. The pry bar below worked great to loosen and tighten the ring holding the top of the fuel pump assembly in. Gives more of an axial force than a screwdriver or a chisel. New pump in. Started right up.
