Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, a few months ago i checked michelin website and they were making PSS's for 996Turbo. Today, i checked again, and nothing! PSS, PS2, nothing.. What is going on with Michelin and Porsche? PS2 is one of the tires recommendations by Porsche. If we don't have Michelins, what is the best Tire for this car? P Zero Rosso? Thank you all

POST 2Original post

PSS not available in 996 TT rear size PS2 are available Just bought a set of 295/30/18 PS2 N4

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

225 40 zr 18 295 30 zr 18 ? Michelin website don't give me any result! :S *confused*

POST 4Original post

They're definitely out there: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes (fyi, wrong size fronts in this link, but you get the idea). Just order a new set of rear tires, but I did the sacrilegious thing and went non-N rated. I'm think Michelin pricing is getting a bit nuts

I've run N-rated Continental tires on my 2003 Turbo along with N-rated Bridgestone tires. Not at the same time of course. Both brands delivered good tire life and performance. While Michelin tires are pretty darn good -- I've run them for a few years on my Boxster -- but I've never run them on my Turbo, other brands I've mentioned above should deliver nearly the same experience. Between Michelin and Pirelli tires on my Boxster the only difference is the Pirelli tires get noisier as they get worn. But a blindfold test, so to speak, would have me hard pressed to tell you which brand of tire was on the car.
