Suggestion
I've only had them on for about a month so can't provide any meaningful updates regarding longevity but from what I've seen from others I think this should stand the test of time.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.
i haven't used that kit but I've used other products from cerakote and always impressed.
i use sylvania headlight restore kit and it worked great. I'm sure the cerakote kit is similar and would work great too.
I've used the 3m kit and it worked pretty well. I found that a little Maguires Plastic polish at the end seems to finish it off a little better. than just the final step in the kit.
I used this kit some time ago. It cleaned much better than the Turtle Wax kit. But, 8 months later started yellowing again. Most recently, i used a guy that roams around cleaning headlights. They look about the same as the Cerakote. Well see how long it lasts.
Next time Ill add the expel film.
Clear film is the way to go, especially if you go supersonic often. Replacing a cracked headlight is no fun on the wallet. I've gotten great results with Lamin-x film. 2 headlights took about 2 hours with sanding and polishing + clear film install.
I've used it, and it worked. Definitely the easier option, no sanding. My headlights were really clear already so this cerakote was all that was needed. I do have the expel precut film yet to go on
Thanks. I've only had them on for about a month so can't provide any meaningful updates regarding longevity but from what I've seen from others I think this should stand the test of time. I first wet sanded the headlights with 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 and 2500 grit sand paper and then used a polish to finish them off. The Lamin-x kit I purchased was pre-cut and the fit was very good. They let you choose the right cut for headlights with and without washers. I believe the film includes UV protection in it as well and obviously protects the headlights from impacts. I think that's where other products fail. Over time, your headlight get sprayed with tiny rocks and dirt as you drive and eat away any of the sprayed on protection. After a while your headlights will start to yellow - mine did.
Have used Cerakote first on my 4S and then on three other vehicles. All turned out great with very good long term UV protection. Would highly recommend the product. It also gets very good reviews.
I did not want PPF because of the way it looks on the light. I have also seen them start to look worse with age, just my .02
