I used adapters from there (for my dash and quarter panel speakers) and replaced the factory speakers with Alpine SPS-410 4" coaxials.

I have Polk DB series speakers in the dash and rear panels of my Turbo (and a DB series 8" sub) being driven by a 5-channel amp and I have been very pleased with the sound quality, especially considering the price point.

There are many sound system replacement threads if you do a search. The bottom line is that there are options out there, but none of them are particularly ideal. Due to the fact that there are several iterations of the audio system(s) there�s no simple answer that covers all the bases - it all depends on what system you�re starting with... Good Luck

Check Car Audio Innovations Porsche Audio Upgrades (cai-store.com) I used adapters from there (for my dash and quarter panel speakers) and replaced the factory speakers with Alpine SPS-410 4" coaxials. It sounds great and was an easy install. You shouldn't need to modify the OEM grill at all.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
