Did you remove yours? I�m guessing has a valid purpose and probably looks strange without it, or you expose the engine area.

A lot of negative pressure back there so accordion keeps stuff from swirling into the bay. And the piece is much prettier to look at from the outside.

What�s wrong with yours? I thought I needed to replace mine, because it was discolored and looked terrible no matter how I cleaned it. But my paint correction/ceramic guy restored it and it looks new.
