Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that performed work without a confirmed outcome

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Use today' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'elephant in the room' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean cut trust worthy responsible kid' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

It was the elephant in the room for 2 days until my oldest confided in me that "all its going to show is that I smoke some weed".

More like a verb or adjective...but you can run with it.

I also have an 11 year old and a 2 year old and what the older one to set an example.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The first Porsche I bought (in 1985) was a 914. The visor had a pocket that contained a polaroid of the smiling previous owner and his buddy posing with a trash bag full of pot!
Hey. What questionably (or not) legal substances I may or may not need to store and where I may or may not store it if I did have such things is none of the business of you internet trolls.
I know like "Let's go 420!" But that would have been a long title and would have missed the intent: "Where do you put you stash in your 996 for when you want to go and 420" See, it doesn't work.
a collaboration,. Joint (pun intended) copyright
and didn't your mother teach you that you should not stick out your tongue unless you intend to use it?
Back in high school , rolling a lot of joints with seeds in my 2002 bmw, one day I looked down and there was 3 or 4 pot plants growing out of the floor boards by my gas peddles.
These days I don't smoke but do have some marajan candy in the console of my truck. This stuff relaxes all your muscles , releaves stress and makes you happy
The kids today are experts at evasive maneuvers and adult detection deteren but hey so where we. What they do have going against them is the electronic trail they are leaving behind on social media and their iPhones. You catch one and it's like a dominoes effect the whole town is busted.
In my day growing up in the streets of Brooklyn NY we all knew as long as you kept your mouth shut everyone walked.
Anyway found the stash ... Pure garbage. Isn't worh with the ziplock bag it was in! Now have to prep for the massive *** kicking that will commence this evening!
A little bit of both. Biggest concerns is the garbage quality and god knows what it's laced with and clueless approach to this failed experiment at 15 years old!
just thinking what I will do to my son if found something in his room. probably put it on the counter so he sees it when he walks in the door. watch the Oh **** look on his face and then talk. unless he clams up and denies then it's a one way conversation and handing out punishment s.
Better to know what your kids are doing then not.
Lets face it, by the end of the decade it will be legal in most if not all states and probably federally legal.
Agreed. We all know everyone is tried it or doing it. Just to early at 15 IMHO. I also have an 11 year old and a 2 year old and what the older one to set an example. Anyway he is grounded till college. Saved a fortune on the car I won't be buying him.
Mom wanted to killed him, I spared him. Although no more iPhone and Xbox is death equivalent to him.
Better to know what's going hide your drugs, alcohol and car keys people..........
I keep mine next to my 215
lately I've been diggin' the co2 pen carteridges. Keeps the c4s smelling fresh. Trash bag full of weed lol, that's rookie **** where I'm at in the weed & wine country

At 15? Sh*t, that's when I was smoking dope constantly. I tore through dime-bags of weed like Subway Jared at the all-you-can-eat-and-all-the-teenage-hookers-you-can-bang buffet.
You do NOT need to be sober to get through public high school. I quit smoking once I got to grad school - needed those brain cells.
Can you imagine trying to find a way to get lit today, with kids having to have cell phones, GPS trackers, LoJack, and everything else? How's a 15-year-old supposed to get baked if Mom knows where you are every waking moment?
Folks don't kid yourselves they will vape it in the basement with zero evidence right under your nose.
Bong in the forest, roll a joint by the basketball court... Smart kids
Raising my boys, pot was the least of my concerns. Heroin is making a resurgence in our schools.
When my kids were in high school (one Junior, one Sophomore), I went to Walgreens and bought a home test kit. Left it in the kitchen where I knew it would be seen. It was the elephant in the room for 2 days until my oldest confided in me that "all its going to show is that I smoke some weed". I told him that I hoped so, but let's find out for sure, so he did the test.
He's 25 now and told me that anytime he was tempted to try something else (ecstasy, Molly, Spice, etc), the thought of failing that drug test, in front of me, in our house, was enough to just say no. No matter how fu@ked up he was.
Some of you younger parents may disagree...you have to trust your kids, talk to them...all that bull****.
I've seen too many of my friends have their kids OD, go to rehab or jail...and this is not a druggie community. If you don't think the hard **** is in your schools, you are wrong. You do what you have to do.
100% agree. My kid is an honor student, in very accelerated class in one of the best school systems in the country. He had out full trust. He is on the Tennis team. Clean cut trust worthy responsible kid.
Now **** is coming out about what he and his friends have been up to with weed, alcohol it's amazing right under our nose. And every day for months now. And the hard core crap is available in school with one phone call... I mean text message!
I bought 10 drug tests and have them lined up in his room pop test once a week. And we now own a breathalyzer. Oh and his little slush fund that I found of close to a Grand is picking up the tab.
As my favorite president said Trust but Verify! And in the spirit of this automotive forum - hide your car keys.
Some of my friends who did drugs in school were some of the smartest kids in our class. I didn't hang out with them closely so I don't know the extent of what they did, but with all the social issues and quirks teens have it's pretty easy to hide something like that.
Especially in the days before cell phones and social media where we didn't share everything with each other and families.
