Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The owner of this car says these are the original wheels that he ordered special when he originally bought the car. I'm not familiar with this wheel, does anyone know whether these are original or aftermarket? Thanks for your help!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great, thanks to both of your for your help!

POST 5Original post

Any more photos of them on your car? I just bought a set of those this winter for my silver 2000 and am itching to put them on once the salt is off the roads. I was a little concerned of the fit since they were originally on a 2004 but it looks like I should be in good shape.

POST 6Original post

Some say they are harder to clean, but they look GREAT on your Porsche.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Unfortunately this is not my car (yet). I'm second in line to see it and if the first potential buyer buys it I won't even go and take a look. I'm waiting for a call from the owner after the first person looks at it later this morning. I'm hoping the first guy passes............. IF I do get the car I'll certainly post a bunch of photos of it. Thanks again for everyone's help ! Joe

POST 8Original post

those wheels look like the same I have... XRL option code on my 99' 18" SportDesign GT3-look wheels -

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just bought the car with those wheels shown. My first Porsche, pictures to follow tomorrow when I take delivery. I'll post them in a new thread. Thanks to everyone who helped! Joe

Close but note quite. They are 18 Sport Design. GT3 wheels look different enough not to be confused with these.

POST 12Original post

Same wheels on my 99. Sport Design 18's. Love em but a bitch to clean.

POST 13Original post

Good looking wheel. Look identical to what came on the 996.1 GT3, but the front wheels are 1" more narrow.
