Im reaching out to the forum to ask if anyone knows of a vendor that has these in stock at this time, or if someone has a used set they are willing to sell.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking to purchase a set of Eibach Pro kit springs for my 2002 Targa. I dont wish to banter the merits of other springs, nor discuss suspension mods in general. I want a set of Eibach Progressive Springs for my 2002 Targa. These are back ordered by th factory till sometime in September, this backorder has been reset several times. Im reaching out to the forum to ask if anyone knows of a vendor that has these in stock at this time, or if someone has a used set they are willing to sell. Any help in obtaining a set is greatly appreciated, Im willing to wait for the factory to restock these but I fear that since this has been the 3rd time they have been backordered I am worried that the factory wont produce these anymore. Thanks for any help, Ed M

POST 2Original post

Tire rack lists them as in stock https://www.tirerack.com/suspension/...3&autoModClar=

POST 3Original post

They are in Seattle,, in the past their customer service line has been quite helpful to me..

POST 6Original post

C2 non-targa/cab springs also back-ordered 9/20/19. Eibach doesn’t have any C2 rear springs in stock. Eibach has 27 front springs in stock now and 101 rear springs are scheduled to be done mid-Sep. But good old Tire Rack does have them in stock.

POST 7Original post

I don't think it matters if the car is a cab , targa or coupe , c2 suspensions are interchangeable

POST 8Original post

I don't know about Eibach, but I can confirm that H&R have different springs for cabs and coupes...cab spring rate is higher.

POST 9Original post

JTT is correct. M030, Eibach, H&R, etc have differing spring rates to account for different mass locations and amounts.

POST 10Original post

Are you sure ? H&r for example doesnt have a different selection when ordering online , c2 is a c2 , coupe , cab, targa . Do you have a definitive source ?

POST 11Original post

H&R have different part numbers. 29513-2 for Cab, 29513 for Coupe. Mine actually have " Cabrio" printed right on the spring as I remember.

POST 14Original post

I personally did not like the way my car sat after Eibach spring install. Had to cut half a coil in the front to make it look right. This is a pic prior to cutting.

Crap I wish I would have read this before I got these installed on my 02 Cab. Exactly the same situation

I can see it's a bit high but even still that looks amazing, do you have a picture of the after?

POST 19Original post

Here is my before pic with the Eibach lowering springs installed. Not pleased and hope this facilitates future internet searches. H&R springs on order and looking forward to an after pic. 02 C2 Cab Tip.
