Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Did a little dipping yesterday.

It's "classic gold" plasti-dip. I did the glossifier on the rear wheel but not the front. In person the front looks more flat. The glossifier gave the rear a more satin look. When I'm done ill do it on all the wheels

POST 4Original post

Gold is not my cup of tea and neither are those rims.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

you are clearly not the target audience then lol

POST 6Original post

Looks good to me. However, I have to admit I like a little anything out of the norm

POST 9Original post

I like those rims. So does the plastic peal off pretty easy in the future if you want?

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

[QUOTE=Woodman71;16533658]Silver and gold, silver and gold...[/QUOTE I may have used a half a can tops on that wheel. I want it to stay satin

Thanks. Its pretty durable when done properly. The thicker it is the easier it is to take off too.

LOL, I was thinking Burl Ives tooo..

POST 13Original post

My personal opinion is that gold wheels dont have good contrast to silver. But what I would do for sure is restore your headlights. It makes the look so much better and doesn't make the car look neglected. I would get a headlight refinish from multiple sources in your area. Just google headlight refinishing. It makes the biggest difference instead of them looking yellow ad it costs about $200 USD at most.
