Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

Yes riddler, you can use Vauxhall CDs from 2010-2011.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all!
I'm new to this forum, but have been a long time Porsche owner previously owning 2 912's ('68,'69), 1 911 ('85), 1 Boxster ('01) and my current P-car, a '76 912E (beautiful condition.. sexy to look at, fun to drive, and not particularly fast).
I'm looking to buy a 996, and I am afraid to admit, I feel a bit in the dark on 996's.
One particular area I have a question on is the Nav offered in 996's. I've see the Nav offered below.. umm.. is the integrated audio system cassette only? Looks like the "CD" slot is for the nav only?
I think it'd be cool to get a 996 with factory nav.. but I'd not be happy being stuck to my way outdated cassette collection. Who's up for some Winger? Yah.. nobody.
Thanks all!!
Chris
Absolutely. This approach will give you more features (e.g. Bluetooth streaming, access to apps & Internet music services), up to date maps, and a warranty.
I put a double DIN Kenwood nav unit in my 996.1 -- it was pretty easy to do and only cost about $700 including the installation kit. It's a little more complicated with the 996.2's that have fiber optics, but still doable and IMO the way to go.
I have the very same system in my car, I kinda like the oem look of it, so the question is - is it possible to get maps/cd's for it, particulary for eastern/northern Europe? (yup the very same place where all the crap is happening at the moment, Ukraine and sh...t)
