I use a C4S lip on my blue Turbo because it is less likely to get damaged.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello,
I have been going back and forth with a well-known OEM parts dealer online, and I still do not have clarity on what parts I am supposed to order. More importantly, whether the Bumper cover part number
996-505-311-08
includes the assembly required to remount the C4S front lip. For context, here is what happened.
My C4S front lip was worn out, so I decided to replace it with a Turbo front lip - this is where the issues started
On a recent drive with the new turbo lip, it caught the pavement when exiting a backwoods parking lot and it dislocated itself from the bumper
I did my best to snap it back into place, but admittedly I was in a rush and did not do a good job
The turbo lip did not last for more than a few more miles, and it fell off in the middle of the middle of a highway run above 70 MPH
When it fell off, it snapped off the fender well clips where the bolts attach and took both the plastic clips and bolts with it. Needless to say, it was not safe to retrieve it
Upon initial inspection, it seemed that the front lip attaches to the bumper cover. Upon closer inspection, the actual lip "seems to" attach to the lower oval piece with the notches. One thing is 100% though: the lower piece with the notches is the part that had the clips for the bolts, not the bumper. See last photo with the broken off plastic piece.
I have taken the opportunity to completely renew the front end as it's weathered and much needed, and there is at least $2,000 in parts at stake here. I want to be sure I am ordering the correct parts, and I am unclear as to what parts to order as I can't get them to answer a simple question in detail.
Does anyone know if the piece with the notches is a part of the bumper cover assembly? If you have any experience with issue / fix, I would appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance

may the 4:10 mark the whole
piece comes out.
so I would say based on Botha pieces of info that the answer is a yes. Its attached to the bumper cover.
