Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They also have sales at Ruf, so check their web site and check with Teile, too.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm looking at buying a 996.1 911 Carrera (or Carrera 4), and ideally I'd like to find one with the Cup Aerokit. But if I couldn't find one, does anyone know if there are any of them for sale anywhere? Perhaps even well made aftermarket copies?
I found a Porsche dealer on the East Coast selling one of the 996.2 aerokits, but that was it.
I have the distinct feeling it's going to be prohibitively expensive to buy it on its own and then fit it to a car that didn't come with one. But I figured it might be worth asking anyway.
Thanks!
.2 Aerokit new is around $5k from Suncoast for bumper, spoiler and rockers. 996.1 is eye wateringly expensive. I think the front bumper alone is $5k now and the rear spoiler is $7500. It took me a while to source both parts used.

RMP Technik is not Cup spec, but extremely high quality based in the UK

Also, RUF

That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping that my googling was just failing me.
Right? I'm shocked that there's nobody out there making replicas.
Can anyone speak to the quality of any of these companies? The Getty design site seems to have everything necessary to put together a replica of the Cup Aerokit.
I'd be curious to hear how they are, but I have a feeling that shipping from the UK all the way to Oregon would be quite expensive. On top of that, I'm really sold on the taco. 😁
I'm really dying to get a 996 Carrera with this 996.1 GT3 look:
The Taco is beautiful and so is .2, just want to change it up a little. In the long run I'm getting a RPM Technik carbon hood as well, the people at RPM are pretty quick to respond if you ask. The shipping estimate I got was 233 USD to Miami. You can't go wrong with Gen 1 Aero though, it's amazing set up indeed.
I have dealt with the folks at Ruf recently. I checked my documentation and their complete .1 aero kit is neighborhood of $5,000 shipped from Germany for the Ruf front cover, skirts and spoiler. I only purchased the spoiler, and quality is, well, Ruf. So thats also an alternative to the exorbitant price gouge for the OE kit. I went with the OE .2 kit for sides and front in my case. They also have sales at Ruf, so check their web site and check with Teile, too. Only problem with Teile is the shipping rates theyve quoted were deal-killers.
It's not exactly an MK1 OEM bumper in all cases. Like this one for example has no slats in the air ducts. I prefer this cleaner look. That is what led me to believe that they made their own, but maybe they just removed them and smoothed it out.
Im sorry for the silly question, especially if its been asked before. Will the 996.2 kit on Suncoast fit the 996.1? Thanks.

Front bumper will not without new fenders, lights and other plastic bits. U may already know that the wing and skirts r also different, but they will fit.
There are several aftermarket fiberglass options... Check the links in zbomb's post above:

No first-hand experience with Duraflex but I've heard/read it's trash.
Gotcha, as others have said, I think its one of those cases where You get what you pay for really comes into effect haha. I may just shell out for a legit bumper. Im curious if a duraflex taco wing will be okay tho. Since its not too prone to driveway scraps/bumps like a bumper would.
