Damn dude thats horrible and luckily it was the fender area because Ive seen the aftermath of a deer going through the windshield and really messing up the driver.

Since I live near Jenny Jump, my second vehicle for winter driving is a Nissan Frontier with an ARB bull bar mounted on the front.....and yes, the bull bar has been repaired once since I hit two deer, with no damage to the rest of the truck.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking for a right front fender, headlight assembly and front bumper

POST 2Original post

Have you checked the components under the skin? Like the headlight mounting plate, the fuel vapor canister, fuel filler bits, etc.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I havent. It literally just happened. I was mostly venting, not making a list of all the components that need to be replaced.

POST 5Original post

I have one. My track car was updated to a .2 front end. Its black, no dings, no fuel door. Located in Minneapolis.

POST 6Original post

I have all of that stuff just outside of Philadelphia, and likely everything else you would need.

POST 7Original post

Doe! That sucks but it could have been a lot worse. Glad the only injuries were to the car.

POST 8Original post

Oh man, Im sorry!! Glad you're ok and its not worse.

gonna print that off to submit to insurance. 😂

POST 10Original post

Just in case,,, You did not hit the deer the deer hit your car, some insurance companies it matters.. Yet another game... I hate insurance companies.

POST 11Original post

Damn dude thats horrible and luckily it was the fender area because Ive seen the aftermath of a deer going through the windshield and really messing up the driver. The damage doesnt look terrible and hope it gets fixed to your liking.

POST 12Original post

I had a similar deer incident. Insurance covered the repair at an authorized Porsche bodyshop to the tune of $14K. Oh deer.

POST 13Original post

I almost had the same thing during a 6-mile run on Shades of Death Road, The "Bambi" population is large since most shelter in or around local housing areas where vegetation is plentiful and cannot be accessed during hunting season. Since I live near Jenny Jump, my second vehicle for winter driving is a Nissan Frontier with an ARB bull bar mounted on the front.....and yes, the bull bar has been repaired once since I hit two deer, with no damage to the rest of the truck. However, I am curious as to where you took your Porsche to have the work performed....and were you happy with the results?

Work was performed at Moppert Collision in Swedesboro. They used all new panels and removed others for painting. Only issue was the respray had more orange in it. They had an engineer from PPG come and help with the matching process. They nailed it the second time around. So in the end, yes, very happy with the results.
