Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I 3D printed an insert for mine that I use when needed to hold a can or bottle, which is rare for me.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New to Porsche/996 ownership: No glove box but I guess the plastic frame below the steering wheel is meant for the owners manual? Ideas where I can buy one? No cup holders. Suggestions for aftermarket cup holders ...

POST 2Original post

There are many aftermarket cup holders and I've tried just about all of them. Many like the "Ultimate Cup Holder". I'm not a fan. https://www.ultimatecupholders.com/ This is the one I found to be the best. As is, it only supports cups, not cans or bottles. I 3D printed an insert for mine that I use when needed to hold a can or bottle, which is rare for me. https://www.sound-in-motion.com/porsche/#cup-holder That tray under the dash is for the owners manual. You can try Suncoast Porsche and Sunset Porsche which have them from time to time.

consider using the factory optioned in-dash cupholders. They are great for cans or small cups. You just have to sacrifice one of your existing bays, typically an unused cd or tape storage, then relocate the climate control to the bottom of the stack. See pic:

I recently saw this on Matt Ross' channel and like them. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Renndition...on_id=42068422

I ordered a factory cupholder set and new key fob from Suncoast
