Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

And so it begins.... After changing AOS, water pump, injectors, alternator, oil pressure sensor and some other parts turns out that you can't avoid the inevitable. Luckily the IMS was not the issue this time as the previous owner took care of that but it was my turn to experience the ultimate fate - bore scoring. So I spent the last autumn to remove the engine and tear it to parts and then send it to LN Engineering for getting a "Nickies" solution (3.4L -> 3.8L) Got the block back a couple of months ago and finally I'm ready to start -- slowly -- the actual rebuild process. I've been setting up the garage, tools etc and also getting some parts and that process is still continuing. However you need to start at some point so what is the better time to spend you holidays other than in a garage So to the point - here are some parts that are waiting to find their way into project

Good luck with your build . My 3.4 to 3.8 was completed last year . You will like the results . I also used Mahle pistons with Carrilo rods .
