Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
It was not adjustable and was firmer and 20mm lower compared to the M030 (-30 from std) using the same M030 stabilizers.
Leading evidence: 'Use same m030 stabilizers' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use same m030 stabilizers' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've had my 03 C4S since March. Bone stock. My original thought was to keep it that way. However, I'm now thinking that the stock height is a bit high. I say this after a PCA event thus past weekend where many cars had a much better stance with a lowered height.
So my question is what is a conservative path to take and how much would be a that lower the car? I've heard that the European height is 1 inch lower than US. Would this sacrifice the ride quality?
Typically a lowered suspension will be a bit stiffer but also due to the lowered center of gravity you will get better turning response. There are many options out there but two from Porsche that I would recommend: the MO30 and the x73 kits. The X73 was the lowered sport suspension once available as a factory option for the 996TT and 996C4S.
It was not adjustable and was firmer and 20mm lower compared to the M030 (-30 from std) using the same M030 stabilizers. The X73 was available as retrofit kit through Tequipment for the TT and C4S.
You can also go the coil over route and again, many to choose from, some adjustable in terms of stiffness and some not. Good luck and it will make your car even more fun to drive.
I was in the same situation than you when I bought the car. After many thoughts I decided to go with the OEM European suspension. The lowering is very subtle versus the one that you get for instance with H&R springs, but I liked that way.
The upgrade is more expensive thought. Just the springs are around $1K and if you do a total refresh like I did, with, strut mounts, stoppers and shocks (bilstein B6 also euro spec) it will take a bit more. One thing to keep in consideration if you decide to go that way: make sure that you order the correct references. OEM springs have specific part number for coupe/cab, manual/tip and so on. Also, Bilstein references for European models are different than those for US models.
I'm really happy with the result, not just aesthetically, but also in terms of performance as the ride is just perfect for me.
I have also been going back and forth with lowering my C4S. I emailed Gert at Carnewal over in the UK. He suggested that I use the C4 RoW M030 kit, as the X73 was really very costly and difficult to get. This was about 2 years ago. The price for the C4 kit was about $1600, included shocks and springs. The X74 he quoted me was like 3 times the price and like I said he wasn't sure he could get it. I am now leaning toward Feal coilovers, everybody who has installed them love them and you can set them to the height you like. Hope this helps.
