Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

Since Porsche upgraded the imsb in the new short blocks to a 997, wonder if the new short blocks use the upgraded SUMEbore(or something else) or stick with the old Lokasil..?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

It's very shiny! I like the 308/328 in the background. When I was at the dealer buying my blue 996TT they had a 328 for only a little more $$$ but I convinced myself that I would get more use out of the Porsche at a lower cost.

POST 3Original post

Looks fantastic! Did you have everything vapor honed?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Actually, the 328 in the picture is the lowest maintenance of any Ferrari I have seen or owned. Way lower than the 996 Twin-Turbo

No vapor hone. The short block came from Porsche looking new. The two heads went for a valve job and they cleaned the heads in their super washing machine so the engine looks really clean.

POST 6Original post

Looks great, like starting from new... Since Porsche upgraded the imsb in the new short blocks to a 997, wonder if the new short blocks use the upgraded SUMEbore(or something else) or stick with the old Lokasil..?
