Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just noticed this for the first time on my C4S. It's only happening to the passenger side. I've also recently noticed that I've had an intermittent fast blinking turn signal from that side as well. All of the bulbs seem to be working whenever I check though and this is the first time I've actually seen condensation. I'm guessing the two issues are related. Any thoughts or suggestions? I've found threads suggesting people remove their headlights to check them. Is it easy to do? - Condensation

POST 2Original post

Removing the light is easy, check the pelican diy's. Removing it will definitely help you find the leaky seal or (hope not) crack. Some time with a blow drier will help get the moisture out before you seal it up.

POST 3Original post

Drive with them on for a few hours to heat them up and drive out the moisture.

POST 4Original post

Check the headlight unit to seek out where their is a leak. If you don't see anything apparent you may just need to reseal the whole light. You can remove the headlight from the chassis in order to bake the light to remove the lens from the housing, (only set it hot enough to heat up the sealant), and then re-seal it with new sealant once it's removed. Done this a few times myself, but had to do it because I wanted to black out all the chrome in the headlight unit. It's pretty simple and doesn't take up too much of your time. Good luck! -Luccia

POST 5Original post

I had this happen and the condesation left "water marks" on the inside of the lens (water spots). It's driving me crazy so I think I'm going to attempt to remove the lens to clean the inside of it, and then re-seal it.
