Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm hoping to get some on advice on the 996 generation. I love the thrill of a sports car, particularly rwd, stick shift. I was thinking a 2000 Porsche 911 with 36k miles. They want 26k. Now a little off topic, how has the car worked with the ladies? Any of them asking for rides?

POST 2Original post

Says pending sale, and if it's attention from the ladies you are after the 911 deff gets it.

POST 3Original post

Tell you the truth it has attracted more dudes. Only ladies that were impressed were the ones I already knew. Many I'm doing it wrong. That's a beatiful color though

POST 4Original post

Car looks nice and price is close with those miles. Low chance the car will land you any ladies, it's you the ladies will have to deal with not the car

POST 5Original post

Completely agree with Soaringman. A car would only attract the most vapid women. Buy a car because you like to drive it. End of story.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I would be buying this car for the thrill of driving no doubt. Ladies are only secondary. Most probably aren't in cars in general or even care.

POST 7Original post

The exterior looks very well taken care of. The interior has sport seats but does not have a leather dash. Does it have xenons? The roll cage is up to you if you like it. Personally I do not, especially with a car as clean as it is on the outside. I have a 99 with aero package and almost all the options available, I bought it for $22K with 31K miles last November. I doubt this car would be worth any more than that. I paid extra in my mind because the car had such low miles. Good luck!

POST 8Original post

I've purchased Porsches from th before...they won't budge on price.

POST 9Original post

Just checked it out online. Has a roll cage, sport seats, center exhaust, newer rims.... Looks like a good car on the surface. Midwest Performance who works on a ton of Porsches is just up the road. the dealer will help get the car there for a PPI, but you will pay the $350. This is a true Indy shop and does a great job. <href>http://www.midwestperformancecars.com<\href>

http://www.carsforsale.com/vehicle/details/6553189 Also just saw this one. It's a 2003 with Xenon lights, powered seats, 6 speed manual, psm, sunroof, black interior, 55k miles with IMS already replaced. What do you guys think? It looks good.

^^^^This! WHY would a 996 even Have a RC! But, if you're Not in a Rush to buy one you can Definitely get one at a lot better price, i would think you could probably get this one at a lot Better Price! GL!

Waaaay Over Priced, but that's what you're going to get from ANY Dealership just because it's a PORSCHE (& you'd be Amazed that some of the people that buy these cars Not Knowing Anything about them, Just because it's a PORSCHE ). In the End, it's just What YOU Want though! GL!

What would you recommend for a car like that be worth?

POST 14Original post

I don't think the first is WAY overpriced. I would say no more than $22-23k. You can find the them for less, but they may not look as good, have higher miles, and probably very few will be aerokit cars. Looks like the 2003 sold.
