Took the 996 out today after a long stint of having it sit due to weather,honey do's ,etc. Went to a local car show, about 40 Pcars today, including a 918 wrapped in flat black . Dropped the top, it's a cab. Had the radar detector ready in case of local gendarmes, and headed up to Mulholland drive. D*amn this car is so much fun to drive on a twisty mountain road. Plenty of power and holds the road like glue. Just wanted to make a positive post on the 996. Glad I made the purchase Alan

Sounds fun. I'd like to go see a car show but the ones I've seen around here are all muscle cars.

Replaced my rear toe links, installed the 997 shifter, set the alignment and went for a drive. Feels much tighter and the howl from the PSE in the open mode at redline ( I added a switch for just plain on and off and tossed the relay) is like a symphony. What a sweet car.
