Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have been unable to find any instructions on doing this job, replacing an entire frame for the top.
Leading evidence: 'Replace entire frame' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace entire frame' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I had broken an arm on my existing top and my top was not in the best shape anyway. I purchased a new top and frame together as one. I have been unable to find any instructions on doing this job, replacing an entire frame for the top. Either written or with pics and video.
Does anyone know of somewhere that I could find this information?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Is there not anyone that at least can point me into the right direction so that I don't have to do this blind?
Thanks in advance for trying to help.
Matt
When I bought a parts car I removed the entire mechanism as show in picture it appears there is a lot of potential adjustments that you would have to pay attention to.I assume you just have the top bows and top and headliner.I wouldn’t remove the entire mechanism.Remove the rear Trim panels to gain access to pivot points, take plenty of notes and pictures .Remove pivot point hardware to see if you can remove the frame.
I did the same thing with mine. It permanently wears the hardtop now. Be prepared to take it to the dealer when one of the several micro switches fail or doesn't line up. I haven't made that trip. buy extra clips and plastic rivet things (not sure what they're called) for the mounting points. Sorry to bring gloom and doom, but it was a disappointing project for me.
Sorry your going through this, fixing my top was over my head, and I also could'nt find how-tos online, I took to an independent locally as dealer wanted 6 hours diagnostic, so far its been there a month
mostly because parts are being sent in from out of state, and they have changed everything that makes the top operate.hopefully this week I get it back.
Not sure where you are located or if this would help, but I came across this So Cal CL listing for a complete top for sale. It's noted as a 2002, but it has a soft window.
