The car has been surging at idle, which is very similar to what happened with my 944, which also turned out to be the ICV.

Leading evidence: 'icv' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'icv' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check air leak (e.g., oil filler tube)' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suspected cause
Potential cause is purge air line blocked so you need to remove the line and blow air through it to check if it's blocked.

May also want to clean the idle stabilizer and check for air leak (e.g., oil filler tube).

Suggestion
You can check the MAF connector to make sure it's tight then you can disconnect it and test the car.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have been getting two intermittent errors P0446 and P0102 that didn't seem to cause any issues. They popped up yesterday, and I cleared the codes with a code reader.
Today, the car just died on me. Had a tough time starting it, but got it started. Then it died again, but I think it choked. The car surges and searches when the clutch is let go after using the gas pedal. Rpms drop down to the hundreds.
I also noticed, that the secondary air pump that has usually been very loud as it runs after start, doesn't run. I don't know when this stopped, but must have been today or yesterday.
Any thoughts? Are these issues related?
P0446 is the evap canister shutoff valve (under passenger wheel fender). Potential cause is purge air line blocked so you need to remove the line and blow air through it to check if it's blocked.

P0102 is MAF signal too low or grounded. This may cause the car to die. Can you read MAF real-time values? You can check the MAF connector to make sure it's tight then you can disconnect it and test the car. The car should run fine without the MAF. P0102 points to MAF wiring issues so you will need to do some continuity test to make sure the signal wire connects to the DME and it's not shorted to ground.
I've had these codes before but haven't seemed to have had any affect on the performance.
I'll try those things next week after this job ends. The car runs without the MAF, I tried disconnecting it.
I recorded some data but I haven't gotten the reader connected to my computer.
Here's a video of the live data

Definitely check the wiring of the MAF then. Your video is only 3 seconds long and it's totally blurry.
May also want to clean the idle stabilizer and check for air leak (e.g., oil filler tube).
Uploaded the wrong video then.
here's the correct

Can it be driven without the AMF if I HAVE TO drive it?
Also, just coincidence that the Auxiliary air pump doesn't run? What exactly is its function?
That was taken at cold start, right? The post-O2 sensors are not reading anything yet so it's likely they're not up to operating temp yet. The precat-O2 sensor are swinging up and down and that's only normal if that's after the SAI pump has ended (e.g., about 1 min after cold start). If the video was taken immediately at cold start, your engine is not seeing the fresh air the SAI pump injects into the system. At cold start, the precat O2 sensors should read close to 0 as long as the pump is running.
It's ok to drive without the MAF (CEL will be tripped but it's ok)
The purpose of the SAI pump is to pump fresh air into the exhaust stream to aid complete combustion during cold start (engine runs rich at cold start). It runs about 1-2min at start up depending on ambient temp. When it runs, the SAI valve opens to let the air into the exhaust. Then the O2 sensors (both precat and postcat) will see the oxygen and measure 0v.
Also see post 22 here from your other thread a while back for normal O2 reading when the SAI system is operating correctly

well, that's what the girl at the front said. The car has been surging at idle, which is very similar to what happened with my 944, which also turned out to be the ICV.
The EVAP Canister Shutoff valve cant be causing the surging can it?
That I'm not sure but it's possible you have two separate issues where the ICV is sticky (which caused the surging idle) but yet it doesn't through a code (ICV has its own code and I'm sure it's not P0446).
So did they replace the ICV? The part number of the valve they replace should be on the invoice. I guess just drive it more and if no more CEL then you know the problem has been fixed
They didn't change the ICV. But I bought a new one, going to put it in and see. Hopefully that will solve it. The CEL went away and then came back.
But today I broke the water hose connector to the oil separator as I was looking around back there. Sigh.
Going to fix that,
then
install the new ICV. Looks fairly easy. Much easier than on the 944.
