Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I need a new windshield (pretty big crack) from just sitting in the winter !! I had plans to replace it anyway because it's the original with 140k on it and it's pretty sandblasted. I noticed my rear window seal has started retracting in the left rear corner (no leaks inside though) my Indy gave me a price of $775 installed for the windshield... I just went on the Safelite site and there were two options for windshields. One was $429, "Green tint, green shade" and the other was $1100, "Green tint" On the FB group it seems the aftermarket seals are kinda trash. What is the part number for the OEM seals I'll need for front and rear ? Thanks

Front - 996 541 531 01 Rear - 996 545 545 01 >>2001 Rear- 996 545 545 02 2002>>

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
