Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

In case of a rear main leak or a brake fluid leak from the slave?

Not with the factory setup. However, if you install the LN Engineering IMS Solution, there is a port that is bored out to allow for the hose that feeds pressurized oil to the IMS plain bearing through the flange. Are you experiencing oil weepage?

It will come out if it is leaking. U just fixed the seals on my imsb cover and it dripped out the bottom pretty good. Its a machined fit but not sealed.

If you're getting oil around the lower part of the bell housing, then normally it's leaking from the RMS or even the IMS flange. At least that's what I've seen here on RL over the years.

Yeah that's what i figured too

POST 7Original post

Keep in mind that car manufacturers can't even keep fluid from leaking out when then don't want it to. If it's leaking, it will find a way out. ;-)
