Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
When I purchased my car, one of the first repair projects was to fix (replace) the nylon gears in the wing mechanism that were stripped out due to lack of maintenance by the PO.
Leading evidence: 'Repair projects was' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Repair projects was' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Anyway to change the rear spoiler deployment speeds.

Suggestion
You can do it with an external controller such as a Piggy ECU and run the spoiler switching via one of its outputs.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Way cheaper to set the spoiler with these wires tied together, don't just go by the colors only, also the positions of the wires in the connector that has same wire color in different position, this what they do to the over price harness
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

thats to bad, being that is probably just a line in code in the ecu, you'd think it would be possible to program it. Going to look into unplugging the electronics and making it think it is a fixed spoiler.
Unplugging it will cause a warning light on the dash.
Somewhere there are instruction on how to modify your deck lid harness to get rid of the warning light.
Or you can purchase the $300 fixed-spoiler harness(996 612 070 51) which will solve the warning light.
Might be worth looking into moving the switch to a more accessible place. It's down near the left foot in the driver footwell. Would be neat if you could get a Turbo switch and wire it into the dash near the radio so you can manually deploy it as you wish!
Ya but if it deploys it won't go down manually unless you go less then 100 kph. I mostly drive posted limits on 80 kph roads and any pass is going to put up the spoiler and it won't go down unless you manually put it down. Driving on 100 kph roads means it will always be up as a rule I always drive 20 over the posted limit.
One thought although I've never tried it. There are relays in Relay Support Group 2 for the spoiler. I don't know what happens when you remove it, but could be worth a try.

If I where you I would program it to be deployed at lower speeds. Keeps the engine bay and intake temperature lower which means more bhp!
standard it goes up at 120kph and goes down at 60kph
I believe this to be correct as well. When I purchased my car, one of the first repair projects was to fix (replace) the nylon gears in the wing mechanism that were stripped out due to lack of maintenance by the PO.
Spending a few hours working on the internal guts, theres no way this set up could take the force from an air stream at +80mph, and convert it into a downforce. The internals are not made of titanium or high strength carbon fiber, but plastic bits and some metal hinges.
As the name implies, the spoiler, spoils air flow so your car doesnt become a complete airfoil, and start lifting you off the ground. See line bc
Some of the fixed wings like our Taco or Turbo brethren have, probably does create downforce (think INDYCAR), but not our retractable spoilers in the general C2 world.
This has been discussed multiple times on other sub forums as well. Lots of folks dont like the spoiler, dont want to alert the police, want better gas mileage, dont think the spoiler is really that effective at certain speeds (lower speeds), even if it aids cooling (when deployed), lowers AIT (when deployed), some folks just dont want the spoiler up.
So why not just use the switch to lower the spoiler when driving after its up? Does activation of the switch not hold the spoiler down during the duration of the drive? Because I thought that the opposite is true - that raising the spoiler before taking off keeps the spoiler up during the whole drive?
I have a spoiler switch on my dash that allows me to raise and lower the spoiler at any speed and a modified footwell light switch that has a light on it that shows if the spoiler is raised..
No it doesn't. If you manually deploy it before starting you have to hold it until fully deployed, if your hit the 120 kph it will then go automatically down it won't stay up. If you deploy it while driving up/down your just need to hit the button don't have to hold it. If you manually deploy it it will automatically go down under 60 kph and go up again a 120 kph. If your driving and it has deployed if will not go down even if manually pressed if your speed is over 100 kph.
I dont know about this. When I deploy my spoiler when the car is stopped, and then take a drive, it stays up when I get home. At least I think it does. Maybe it doesnt. Ill have to test it out.
Since there is one blank button on my cetral console i wouldnt mind having the functionality of the totallay stupid location of the spoiler switch to the turbo spoiler button with illumination as well. I wonder if anyone has done this
update - I ended up buying a Fixed Rear Spoiler - With 3rd Brake Light from FVD.
I just unplugged the old plugs and plugged in the new cable, then tie strapped it in place on the old cable. Now spoiler doesn't deploy and no dash warnings.
