Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All, The alcantara pulled away from the inner sunroof panel. Got it replaced, ok fine. There are two round pins that the inner panel attaches to to move the panel in and out. Got the inner panel in place. ( I think ). Right now the sunroof wont close. It goes approx. half way and then reverses itself to the not quite open position. Help! What do I do now besides taking it to the stealer?

POST 2Original post

Will it fully open when you hold down the button? You can re-calibrate the sunroof much like the windows. Push the button for fully open and hold for 12 seconds. Then fully close and hold the button for 12 seconds. That will reset the open and close limits and often resets the tilt part as well.

POST 4Original post

Maybe remove the panel and see if the sunroof opens and closes normally. The motor stops and reverses if it detects any form of resistance. Don't think you have things together right.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

In order to install theexterior panel, you have to be able to put the mechanism into the tilt position. Nogo.
