Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have already changed all interior myself and also changed rear quarter window mechanism.
Leading evidence: 'Replace interior myself and also' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check ignition coils' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
Since you are that into your car, mechanically, I think you should check your coils.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi there,
im a new 996 cabrio 3.4 2000 year owner. I have already changed all interior myself and also changed rear quarter window mechanism. So ive gone through some things with it lol.
Question about engine: on idle engine is little bit vibrating, as if 1 cilinder wouldnt work properly. One time after i did a burnout - engine started to work very nice. Idle is very stable, engine sound is much quiter and a car started to pull noticably nicer. So its shifting from working nicely to working with some vibration. What and how would you recommend me to check this issue? maybe some coil is failing, who knows ? Thanks in advance!
P.s. i dont wanna bring it to a porsche dealer yet lol
Since you are that into your car, mechanically, I think you should check your coils. On my 2005 Cayenne, I had very similar symptoms: missing and then consistent misfiring and it was one of the coils. If you just purchased this car, as a preventative maintenance initiative, I would change all six of them.
If the CEL is on you need to read the error code (or codes) associated with the CEL. Even if the CEL is not on you can check for pending codes.
The car is new to you so there are a number of things to consider for a rough running engine yet one that apparently has not triggered a CEL.
IIRC the 3.4l engines have an idle control valve. This can get dirty or wear out.
The plugs may be due to be changed or they may not be the right plugs.
It is possible the coils could be due to be changed though often these signal it is time by the engine misfiring and triggering a CEL with several misfire error codes.
What about fuel quality and freshness? Fuel filter condition? Air filter condition?
Thanks, that could be as well - O2 sensors. what you think ? Also guys, what kind of software you use to read ECU, delete codes etc ? I dont wanna spend 3k on a bosch, but if there is something reliable for 100$ that would be great
Changed spark plugs + coils. Engine is now like a clock. 3 spark plugs from drivers side were brown, meaning they were bad. And some spark plugs were quite loose, i was able to unscrew then almost with a hand. Now car pulls much better, and engine is smooth, no vibration.
