Why not just replace the metal valve stems with new which includes the seals?

After removing those valve stem seals do you usually reuse or replace those?

I would still replace valve stem seals on the wheels.

If you havent already, consider replacing with metal valve stems as well.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After removing those valve stem seals do you usually reuse or replace those?
After removing those If I look at those closely at least a few of those have some kind of small just noticeable deformation on the metal part. Also broke two of those small circular springs on top of those - after the second one I removed those before attempting to remove the seal itself.
I tried to rotate those at first and then wiggle them left right but it sort of like required a lot of force to keep those pliers in place - that was probably the reason why those circular springs broke as the pliers pulled them over the top.
Probably some rookie mistake or a crappy tool that I was using but considering the effort and a possible leak issue I was wondering would it be a good idea to replace all of those since they are relatively cheap - about 12 usd each so one bank is around 150usd.
Definitely replace them as they tend to harden with age, heat cycles and exposure to oil. False economy to get that deep into a head and not replace the seals and clean up the valve/seat mating surfaces.
Allrighty - any experience on those 3rd party valve stem seals? Design911 sells those Dansk branded (exhaust manufacturer comes to my mind..) around 1.75 UK pounds a piece which is around 2 USD / EUR. Are those typically reliable?
Why not just replace the metal valve stems with new which includes the seals? In the grand scheme of things it's 12 bucks each. You can find them on all the sites.
