Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Recently noticed that I'm missing the fender liner air guides on my 996. The part I have on the right side (996-504-604) seems to by broken and the left side is completely gone. I plan on buying the part and getting it done as it seems easy enough but curious how urgent this should be. Will likely get the parts from here (right side:

/ left side:

). It doesn't seem like a huge deal if I do it a little bit later I presume or does this protect some vital parts of the car?
Also it looks like I'm missing the front bolt that would go between this and the Aero kit front bumper. Any idea how I would track down the correct bolt?
Below are some photos

Missing screw - any idea where to find this?
Missing screw
The liners r correct and r suppose to be open for the rad fan to vent. The screw and the nut-clip can be found in autoatlantas online PET set up. U will want to learn how to navigate their site.
Thanks, will take a look at the auto atlantas site for the nut-clip. Curious if they are one of these here:

Edit: Looks like I've found the diagram on Auto Atlanta (
http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...section=801-75
). Looks to me like the missing bolt is part 11 or 2?
Also, if they are supposed to be open even when installed, what is the main purpose of this? Is it mainly to guide the air flow from the Aero Kit to the appropriate place?
Could be 5 and 6?
Not sure what the flap does my '00 didnt have it. U put the true gt3 ducts so the bottom is closed and it vents into the wheel well to the brakes. Not sure i would bother with them.
best pick i have
That's a part that i have done without for over a decade. They are cheap and easy to replace but I just haven't. Dont know what their purpose is but maybe they are of utmost importance and we all should replace them. Dunno. But I keep my gt3 brake ducts in good order.
